Peter brings a unique and important set of skills to Kairos. The combination of his science education, financial expertise, and demonstrated people-building skills, makes him a valuable team member. He graduated from UCLA, majoring in physics, while working at the Gene Therapeutics Research Institute at Cedars-Sinai.
During his college years, he began teaching and tutoring students in biology, physics, and chemistry, and continued this full-time after graduation. After a few years, he began to get involved in management, ultimately becoming the executive administrator. A decade of applied managerial and financial experience included overseeing a multi-million dollar budget, as well as a team of over twenty-five employees. His desire to help others was a driving force which led him assist others to identify and cultivate their gifts and talents, and achieve their personal and professional goals.
At a young age, Peter developed a fascination for the sciences, a love for learning, and a desire to be involved in discovery and innovation that would greatly improve and enhance people’s lives. After over a decade of work in the educational and non-profit sector, Peter was invited to be part of the due diligence team at Kairos. This has proven to be a great fit, as Peter helps Kairos assess the best ideas from the world’s greatest scientists and innovators, and then nurture them to become world-changing realities.
Outside of Kairos, Peter enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, and also serving in his local congregation and community. Any time after that is spent reading, writing, running, or experiencing and learning something new!
